Fox Fridays: Archaeological porcelain restoration with plaster

Students will restore a blue-and-white Chinese porcelain with plaster. The craft of restoration is a special artistic creation that integrates modeling, sculpture, coloring, calligraphy, painting and chemical research.

Instructor: Jiahe “Jason” Zhao is a second-year undergraduate student in communication design. He has studied porcelain restoration with Prof. Qing Zhou at Nanjing University of the Arts.
