Red Brick Blue Tarp: A Screening and Panel Discussion
Red Brick Blue Tarp is a poetic short documentary directed by Cami Thomas of My Friends and I and 314 Oasis, created one year after the deadly tornado that tore through North St. Louis. Blending poetry, music, and intimate on-the-ground footage, the film traces grief, survival, and collective memory in a historically Black community left to rebuild itself in the wake of disaster.
Conversation with Cami Thomas, Stephanie Reynolds, Jessica Wernli, and Damon Davis. Moderated by Student Groups NOMAS and Green Action WashU.
