Undergraduate Studio Spaces
Junior and senior studio art majors share semi-private studio spaces located in different sections of the school, depending on their concentration, to give them better access to relevant equipment.
Painting Concentration studios are located on the upper floor of Walker Hall, providing abundant natural light.
Sculpture Concentration students’ studios are located on the lower level of Walker Hall with ready access to the wood, metal, and ceramics shops.
First and second year students in Communication Design work in Walker Hall’s network of open plan studios and classrooms.
Studios for junior and senior students in Steinberg Hall are adjacent to several classrooms and critique areas with pin-up and presentation capabilities.
Students in the Fashion Design department work together in shared studios.
In preparation for their capstone project, senior BFA in Fashion Design students receive private desk space in a studio environment to foster collaboration as they complete their collections.
Students have access to open workspaces for when they need room to work on large-scale projects.
