Now on View: Reflections and Perspectives on Museum Careers
Interested in a career at a cultural institution? This program introduces students to the broad spectrum of roles at museums, libraries, and historical houses.
Meaningful engagement with various communities is vital for museums to remain relevant in contemporary culture, and advocating for public and private funding to support cultural institutions is critical, particularly in a shifting sociopolitical landscape. This event will introduce students to various careers within these institutions, and consultancies working in community outreach and arts advocacy.
Presented in collaboration with the WashU Center for Career Engagement, this Now on View program engages a panel of distinguished St. Louis–based professionals and will be followed by a networking reception.
Students and professionals from cultural institutions across the St. Louis area are invited to attend.
