Laura Desch

Laura Desch is an illustrator and designer currently residing in St. Louis, Missouri. After earning a BFA in Fashion Design from Washington University in St. Louis, she has worked in a range of industries, from fashion, bridal, stage, and screen. Her practice outside of teaching includes creativity consultancy and custom work for clients, illustration collaborations with fellow designers, and researching and developing designs focused on the intersection of pop culture and fashion. She joined the Fashion Design faculty in 2018 and is currently a Lecturer in the department teaching a range of classes including Fashion Drawing, Experimental Fashion, Professional Practices: Portfolio, and Fashion History.
