Jen Logan Meyer

In 2007, Jen Logan Meyer launched the College of Art’s first professional practices program, working closely with leadership and faculty to integrate career education into the curriculum for all art and design students. As part of the newly restructured Center for Career Engagement, she has transitioned into a new role as associate director of the Arts, Design & Media Career Community, to develop a broader program to serve students across academic units who are interested in pursuing creative careers. Meyer continues to direct seminars for design students and teaches in required courses for studio art majors.

Meyer is also a member of the College Writing Program faculty, teaching in the “Place & Perspective” theme. Meyer’s work has appeared and is forthcoming in The Sewanee Review, the Alaska Quarterly Review, The Los Angeles Review, December Magazine, Hobart, and other publications. In addition to short fiction, she also writes for artist catalogs and portfolios, and works with visual artists and designers on collaborative projects. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in fiction at Bennington College Writing Seminars and is at work on both a story collection and a novel.
