Steele Stewart

Steele Stewart is an illustrator and filmmaker whose work is informed by his multicultural Taiwanese American upbringing in the Midwestern United States. His passion for illustration is rooted in a lifelong practice of visual storytelling and influenced by his undergraduate experience at the University of Southern California, where he earned a BA in Film & Television Production.

Steele finds joy in experimenting in new mediums and creating worlds where the mundane is interrupted by the uncanny. His creative approach is guided by a desire to explore identity in the context of one’s culture, and how that understanding impacts and elevates one’s engagement as a global citizen.
