Chelsy Middleton

Chelsy is a multidisciplinary designer whose work explores the intersection of visual storytelling, technology, and human experience. With a background in graphic design, digital experiences, and emerging technology, she approaches design as both a creative practice and a tool for making complex ideas more accessible, engaging, and meaningful.

Her experience spans brand identity, digital and web design, content strategy, accessibility, and experience design, with work across corporate, nonprofit, scientific, and public-sector environments. Across these spaces, she has developed a practice rooted in curiosity, systems thinking, and an interest in how people understand and interact with the world around them.

Chelsy earned her BFA in Graphic Design in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Master of Design in Human-Computer Interaction and Emerging Technology at Washington University in St. Louis. Her graduate studies build upon a longstanding interest in designing experiences that connect people with information, environments, and one another in more intuitive and thoughtful ways.

Her work often begins with a question: How can design transform something complex into an experience people can see, understand, and connect with? Through research, experimentation, and visual storytelling, she continues to explore that question across physical, digital, and emerging forms of interaction.
