Just north of Mexico City lies the arid, desiccated lakebed of former Lago Texcoco, once a crucial part of managing the city’s water systems. This project looks at imagining new relationships between the lake, it’s basin, and the Tlaloc volcano. It explores how to manage flooding in areas that are now reshaped by development.
