“Seeking fractal in a space of vulnerability
a veil towards a protected truth.
whispered in the lineage of stars
I map my own future.
absorbed through time.”
“Looking became sacred: the idea that oneself or family can be understood with a delicate complexity within the home, making it a sacred space. I further explore that notion within the archive. By recognizing that the colonial design is centered around violence, ownership, and othering through records, I create alternative notions of remembering that allow for iterative methodologies to respond radically.”
