Alum Cheree Berry and team present holiday décor for White House State Dining Room

With her eponymous paper and design company, alumna Cheree Berry, BFA ‘00, collaborated with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, HMR Designs, and Rafanelli Events to decorate the White House State Dining Room for the holidays. Themed around peace and light, the team explained on social media that “the room features trees adorned with handmade ornaments, a mantel draped in a meaningful message, and windows framed with intricate paper artistry.”

Based in St. Louis, Cheree Berry Paper and Design is an award-winning graphic design and social stationery company recognized for interactive and conceptual print designs. Berry, who founded the company in 2006, received an Award for Distinction from the Sam Fox School in 2008.
