Sam Fox School faculty, student win travel awards

Assistant Professor Shreyas R Krishnan and undergraduate architecture student Maggie Coleman are among the winners of WashU’s Newman Exploration Travel Fund Award. Krishnan will use the award to visit the U.K. to research diasporic South Asian feminist and queer publications from the 1980s and ’90s. Coleman will travel to Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Helsinki to study cities that have best integrated architecture and GIS to shape their built environments. The NEXT Award program supports WashU students, faculty, and staff in exploring the world to expand their horizons and inspire growth, excellence, and innovation.
