Thesis grants awarded to MFA-IVC students

Isabel Favaloro, Anis Rasheed, and Shivani Shenoy were awarded Thesis Research & Production Grants to further their work. All are second-year candidates in the MFA in Illustration & Visual Culture program.

Favaloro’s project is “After Hours,” a narrative illustration thesis project structured as the opening act of a long-form graphic novel. Rasheed will use the funds to make a graphic novel. Shenoy will create the first issue of “Kaleido,” an illustrated magazine for young readers that celebrates everyday relationships with nature.
