Patterhn Ives receives 2026 Faith & Form International Award for Kol Rinah Synagogue renovation

Architecture practice Patterhn Ives, headed by WashU architecture alumni Eric Hoffman, MArch ‘05, and Tony Patterson, MArch '06, along with Anna Ives, received a 2026 Faith & Form International Award for Kol Rinah synagogue in Clayton, Missouri.
The project was among 12 recipients worldwide in the Religious Architecture: Renovation category. A collaborative effort between the congregation and design team, the renovation and addition created welcoming, flexible, and connected spaces that emphasize the synagogue’s role as a spiritual center and place of community life.
