Alum Jared Della Valle elected to WashU Board of Trustees

Jared Della Valle, MArch/MS ’96, founding partner and CEO of Alloy Development, was elected to the WashU Board of Trustees at the May 1, 2026 meeting. His four-year term began July 1. Della Valle also serves on the Sam Fox School National Council and joins Sam Fox School alumni Corinna Cotsen, MArch/MSCE ’83, Carrie Johnson, AB ’89, and Vicki Match Suna, AB ’80 / MArch ’82, on the board.
About Jared Della Valle
Jared Della Valle has been a real estate professional and architect for more than 30 years and has managed the acquisition and predevelopment of more than 3 million square feet in New York City along the Highline, In the Hudson Yards, in DUMBO and in Downtown Brooklyn.
Jared Della Valle is chair of the downtown Brooklyn partnership and sits on the board of the Architecture League of New York. He has previously taught at Columbia University, Syracuse University, WashU, Parsons School of Constructed Environments, and Lehigh University. Della Valle has widely lectured at major universities and institutions and his work has been the subject of more than 200 articles and publications including a monograph entitled “Think/Make” published by Princeton Architecture Press. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and master’s degrees in both architecture and construction management from WashU. He is a LEED-certified, licensed architect in New York State, holds a National College of Architectural Registration Boards certificate and is a licensed real estate broker and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
