Lecturer Kaitlin Sampson, MLA ’25, wins ASLA Student Award

Lecturer Kaitlin Sampson, MLA ’25, won an Honor Award, Analysis & Planning from the American Society of Landscape Architects for her degree project, Tracks of Transfer. The project reimagines a 45-mile abandoned railroad corridor in southern Missouri as a framework for ecological repair and community resilience. The project was celebrated for “showing how abandoned and extractive landscapes can be transformed into regenerative systems.”
