Two student projects won Excellence in Design Awards from AIA Kansas, both created as coursework for a studio led by David Dowell, the fall 2025 Ruth and Norman Moore Visiting Professor of Architecture. In the course, WashU and Kansas State University students partnered to create designs for The Land Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming agriculture for a more sustainable future.
