Printmaking
The printmaking concentration in the BFA in Studio Art program at WashU’s Sam Fox School emphasizes an interdisciplinary approach across artistic disciplines within a close-knit community where faculty deeply engage with students and their work.
The program emphasizes both traditional and contemporary practices, fostering creativity, technical proficiency, and critical thinking. With expansive, state-of-the-art facilities and experienced faculty, the concentration offers opportunities to collaborate with visiting artists at Island Press, explore innovative methods, and apply skills learned in foundational courses to self-directed studio work.
