The WashU Sam Fox School Gallery, now operating at its new space at 6128 Delmar Boulevard, will host several exhibitions of student and faculty work this spring.
The semester opens with “Time Lapse,” which features work by faculty new to the College & Graduate School of Art since 2023. Josh Azzarella, Tiffany Calvert, Joe deVera, Bei Hu, Megan Irwin, Aida Lizalde, Luiz Ludwig, and Laurel Schwulst will show work in the exhibition, which opens with a reception on Friday, Jan. 23, at 5:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on view through Feb. 28.
Three student exhibitions are slated for later in the spring, including the Sam Fox Ambassadors Graduate Fellowship exhibition. Two undergraduate shows will feature the capstone work of juniors and seniors pursuing their Bachelors of Fine Arts in studio art. Student work spans painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, time-based + media art, and more. The Sam Fox Ambassadors and senior capstone exhibitions will run concurrently in the gallery’s two spaces, sharing a reception along with opening and closing dates.
