Barbie and Ken, oil and water, Democrats and Republicans, socks and sandals: this exhibition examines the concept of duality through the juxtaposition of iconic pairings and unlikely duos. As we contemplate how our society and selves have been bifurcated, we ask artists to visualize and reimagine how they understand duality. Duality is traditionally defined as the quality or condition of being and/or consisting of two parts, elements, or aspects. Organized by the Museum & Gallery Operations Class Cohort.
