Design Openings
Design Openings is a collaboration between the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis and the Pulitzer Arts Foundation. The initiative, open to Sam Fox School faculty, supports art and design projects and installations in the Grand Center Arts District.
Design Openings is the result of the Sam Fox School and the Pulitzer’s shared commitment to contribute to the creative futures of St. Louis through art, design, and culture. The organizations have collaborated on art and design projects for over a decade, including work in the Grand Center Arts District. Past projects include national design competitions with Freecell Architecture (2013) and Amanda Williams and Andres Hernandes (2017), and invitational residencies with Jordan Weber (2021) and Kotchakorn Voraakhom (2023).
Work and support OSEP with the Design Openings initiative, a community partnership with the Pulitzer Arts Foundation, focused on the Grand Center / Covenant Blu neighborhood. In this paid role you will assist with design research, community engagement, and work in partnership with OSEP.
