Instructor: Zach Michaliska has been passionate about image making since childhood, when his older sister taught him how to draw. His passions in music, art, and photography led him to study architecture at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. After graduation and working for a few years, Zach began to understand his infatuation for images over physical construction. His interest in the film industry and storytelling through moving images led him to learn tools such as Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and Zbrush. He wanted to help co-found a club called WashU VFX to teach people software and build a community passionate about all things film and entertainment.
