Undergraduate Approach Exhibition Opening and Publication Launch

We welcome you to join the publication launch and exhibition for the undergraduate student work publication, Approach. At this event we will launch issue 27, Approach: Agency (2021-23), which focuses on students’ agency in their education and architecture’s agency in the world through five key research areas prioritized in our curriculum: environment, technology, society, history, and practice. The exhibition will display work that will be included in the forthcoming issue 28, Approach: Resolution (2023-25).

Approach documents the pedagogical, cultural, and intellectual life of the College of Architecture in the Sam Fox School at WashU. Each thematic issue focuses on a particular aspect of the undergraduate architecture program, providing a snapshot of the educational approach, visual language, and experimental ethos that permeate the College.

The exhibition was curated by Jiahe Jin, Rebekah Shin, Daylin Kennedy, Shoshana Rosen and Marco Donohoe.
