The Historic Preservation Lecture: Maria Lisogorskaya
Maria Lisogorskaya is one of the founding directors of Assemble studio, and practices between the scales of immediate hands-on material prototyping, architecture and urban strategy.
Maria Lisogorskaya is a founding partner of the Turner Prize-winning architecture and art studio Assemble. Her projects range from the scales of product and material prototyping and experimentation to spatial design and organizational strategy. Projects which most prominently demonstrate these interests include Blackhorse Workshop in London, Granby Workshop in Liverpool, Material Institute in New Orleans and, most recently, her collaboration with Luma Atelier in Arles. Maria has been a visiting architecture professor at university master’s programs in London, Vienna, and at Lausanne; as well as a guest lecturer and critic in universities across the UK, US, France, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, and South Korea.
