Fox Fridays: Collaged Pin & Button Making

Collage and Pinback buttons have long histories associated with grassroots cultural and political movements. Collage enthusiasts, Button fanatics, and newcomers are welcome to participate in this 3-hour workshop where will make buttons. We will have a lot of collage materials available, but if there is anything else you’d like to have on a button you are more than welcome to bring that too.

Takeaways: Students will leave the workshop with a small collection of homemade buttons.

Cross-disciplinary Connections: This workshop connects to any student in Communication Design, Studio Art, and Fashion Design. Button making is a great way to communicate your thoughts, positions, interests, and ideas in a portable and visual manner.
