Fox Friday: Creative Coding With Chat GPT Workshop
How can artists and designers use ChatGPT in their creative practice? This workshop will investigate how artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT can serve as “collaborators” for projects in the field of creative coding.
Participants will not only examine the benefits of these tools, but also explore how the fallibility of these tools affects the creative process. The workshop will provide opportunities to address these issues in non-digital and digital activities and participants will walk away with a better understanding of these tools, the possibilities they offer and a variety of “sketches” from the workshop.
Takeaway: Basic understanding of how to get started and include ChatGPT in creative coding project.
Cross Disciplinary Connections: Visual art, Design, Creative Computing, Generative Art, Artificial Intelligence.
Instructors: Lucas Drummond and Eric Nunez
