ARCH 616: Degree Project
Students working on their degree projects develop the work to a higher resolution where structure, materials, enclosure, mechanical, and construction systems are considered, exposing the fundamental relationship between an initial idea and the ways of becoming a complete work of architecture. They have the opportunity to express their own ambitions, unfold their method of design exploration, and develop an experiential and tectonic basis for manifesting their intentions — to create not simply an advanced work of architecture but to establish the emotional and intellectual space in which to work as an architect.
