WashU Sam Fox School alumni honored with AIA St. Louis Design Awards

Many of the awardees recognized by AIA St. Louis with 2024 Design Awards at the Nov. 21 ceremony have strong connections to the WashU Sam Fox School. Awardees with teams led by Sam Fox school alumni include:
Patterhn Ives — whose team includes Founding Partner Eric Hoffman, MArch ‘05, and Partner Tony Patterson, MArch '06, among other alumni — received two awards for Love Bank Park and the Missouri State University Performing Arts Pavilion.
Trivers, led by Principals Joe Brinkmann, BArch '92, and Joel Fuoss, MArch '02, was recognized for the preservation and adaptive reuse of The Victor.
TAO + Lee Associates, led by Principal and Founder Peter Tao, AB '79, was recognized with an Honor Award in the Architecture Category for the Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center.
Arbolope Studio, led by Irene Compadre, AB '08/MLA '12, served as the landscape architect on Love Bank Park, The Victor, and the Jack C. Taylor Visitor Center.
Additionally, two Sam Fox School projects — the Gateway Pavilion at Peace Park and the YES24 student exhibition — were recognized at the AIA St. Louis Design Awards ceremony.
