YES25: Architecture Year End Show Competition Winners Announced
2024-12-12 • Sam Fox School
The Sam Fox School’s College of Architecture and Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design have announced the winners of the proposal competition for the Year End Show, YES25. The annual exhibition features work by graduating students across all undergraduate and graduate programs in architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design.
Winners were chosen by a committee chaired by Visiting Assistant Professor Matthew Allen. The competition offers students the experience of designing and curating an exhibition from its earliest stages, to hands-on installation, to celebrating the opening
Graduate Exhibition
“Inspiring Curiosity”
Hannah Grau
Abigail Fonville
Sam Scriba

“This exhibition design for the Year End Show of the graduating class of 2025 emphasizes flexibility and consists of a series of modular display units set in a linear, north-south arrangement across Steinberg Gallery. Standing outside the exhibit, visitors see only the exhibition title and the legs of people inside, creating ambiguity while inviting people in. Three module variations shape the main exhibition space, which allows students to display both drawings and models of varying scale.”
Undergraduate Exhibition
“Undefined Boundaries”
Julian Bosques
Lucy Li
Rain Zhao
Charlotte Zhang
“Graduating students transition from the Sam Fox School community to the world at large, diffusing new ideas and vitality into the design world. As an embodiment of diffusion, an exercise of looking forward, and a visualization of what has been achieved, this exhibition transforms review spaces in Weil Hall into a gallery where time is suspended and architecture is isolated as the focus of celebration.”
YES25 will open in Steinberg Gallery and Weil Hall in May 2025.
