NOMAS students receive rising leader award

Undergraduate architecture students Sarah Monreal Aviles and Daylin Kennedy were recently awarded the Sharon Stahl Rising Leader Award for their service as co-presidents of the Sam Fox School’s National Organization of Minority Architects student chapter.

The award was established in 2006 and recognizes a first- or second-year student for exemplary leadership, service, and commitment to the WashU community. Aviles and Kennedy were recognized at the Excellence in Leadership Awards ceremony on April 17.
