From Illustrator to Letterpress: Printing Shapes on Press
Move from vector to the letterpress using the vinyl cutter to create quick, custom plates. We will have multiple presses and ink colors for you to play with layering and printing in multiples.

Ben Kiel is a typeface designer; educator at WashU in design, type, and letterform; and partner in XYZ Type.
Becca Leffell Koren is a multidisciplinary designer working in publication, exhibition, and identity design. She collaborates with artists, institutions, and commercial clients among others on projects in the fields of art, culture, architecture, and education. She holds an MFA in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BFA in Communication Design from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, where she is currently teaching.
