Spring 2024 “Fox Fridays” Announced
2024-01-26 • Sam Fox School
The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts shared its lineup of Fox Fridays for the spring 2024 semester. Fox Fridays span a variety of topics, tools, resources, processes, and ideas, held weekly. The workshops — free and open to all WashU students — offer a platform for students to expand their practices and creative outputs, transcending disciplines, mediums, and experiences.
Assistant Professor Kelley Van Dyck Murphy is the co-director of Fox Fridays, and is looking forward to this semester’s lineup. “I’m very excited for this spring’s workshops,” Van Dyck Murphy said. “We have a diverse range of topics from an introduction to the wood lathe to experiments with machine learning, 3D printing with clay, and even how to draw soil using Grasshopper. These workshops represent the wide-ranging, innovative expertise of our faculty, staff, and student body and provide students with a meaningful hands-on experience.”
